Drive From the I-190 North Take exit 7 (Church Street) and take the second right (after Lower Terrace) onto Route 5 West/Buffalo Skyway. Exit at the Outer Harbor Drive and turn right onto Fuhrmann Blvd. Continue along Fuhrmann to your Outer Harbor destination- see location map here
From the I-190 South Take exit 7 for Route 5 West toward Lackawanna. Exit at Outer Harbor Drive exit and turn right onto Fuhrmann Blvd. Continue along Fuhrmann to your Outer Harbor destination- see location map here

From Downtown Buffalo via Ohio Street Take Michigan, Chicago, or Louisiana Streets south to Ohio Street, turn left onto Ohio Street. Follow Ohio Street to Fuhrmann Blvd and turn left. Continue along Fuhrmann to your Outer Harbor destination- see location map here
Walk Canalside or Downtown Buffalo using the Shoreline Trail
Memorial Day – Labor Day Use the seasonal Bike Ferry Landing located at Canalside (44 Prime Street). Continue south along Fuhrmann Blvd
BIKE Follow South Park Avenue behind the First Niagara Center to Ohio Street. Continue down Ohio Street to Fuhrmann Blvd and turn left. Continue along Fuhrmann to your Outer Harbor destination- see location map here
NFTA Exit at the Erie Canal Harbor Station, then follow the directions above for walking or biking BOAT Dock at Buffalo Harbor State Park Marina/Safe Harbor and head north via the Shoreline Trail pathway/Fuhrmann Blvd to your Outer Harbor Destination |
