General Festival Information
  • Food and Beverages --- Reasonably priced foods and beverages from Ireland and America, including Irish bangers , corned beef and cabbage, potato chowder, scones, soda bread, salt potatoes, potato chowder, Irish lamb stew, Guinness, Harp and Jameson's. Catered by Shannon Pub.
  • Goods and Crafts --- At least twenty vendors, including sweaters, kilts, t-shirts (of course), books, CD's and tapes galore, personalized pub and storefront paintings, Irish photography, hand-styled ceramics and glassware, etc. Three new vendors again this year.
  • Fun --- Watch one of five Irish Step-Dancing and Ceili groups perform for you. Sing along with the bands, or join us at the Inside Stage Friday night for a traditional jam session.
  • Attendance --- 3,000 to 4,000 per day attend the festival. Most are from the local area, but many come from Ohio, Pennsylvania and Southern Ontario.
  • Parking and Admission --- Admission is $10.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors (60+) and kids 4-11. Kids under 4 are free. Parking is free, right on the grounds.
  • What You Will Not Find at the Buffalo Irish Festival... Carnival Rides; Games of Chance; Lots of teenagers running around unattended; Politicians (just kidding, they're everywhere); Unfriendly People; Cotton Candy; High Prices

Rules and Regulations
What festival would be complete without a few restrictions to keep things going smoothly. We do not allow any food or beverages to be brought onto the grounds. Our vendors and participating organizations will supply plenty. Twenty-one year-old drinking age will be strictly enforced, with violators subject to immediate prosecution. Rowdy or drunken behavior is not tolerated, and will cause immediate removal. All prices lists and schedules are subject to change.
